Some Home Decoration Ideas And Diy Tricks Using Household Items And Some Genius Thinking!
As a former home designer, I pride myself on perfect placement tasteful accessories (home decor products). Now that I have taken it upon myself to learn how to make diy crafts in my spare time, I feel unstoppable! The amount of diys I have completed ranges from diy bathroom vanity makeover to diy hair color ideas, I mean the list is endless (pinterest home decor crafts). I mean I can turn a peanut butter jar into a fancy kitchen utensil holder (laughs). I wanted to share with you all a few of my fave diy crafts that everyone can do since we all have stuff laying around that outlived their original purpose. I will start with the peanut butter jars since I can bet that everyone has at least one of those in the kitchen cupboard (diy hunting). So, these jars come filled with your peanut butter or jams, but when the product is finished what can we do with the actual jar? Well, here are a few tried and true uses- they can be transformed with a little paint into a holder for your kitchen utensils (diy kitchen organization). If you aren’t into that, you can turn them into piggy banks (easy diy christmas gifts) by making a slit in the cover and start throwing in those coins! How about some diy gift ideas? For the holidays I made a ton of hot chocolate jars for family and friends, and you would think I bought them in a store. Also, you can get the kids involved and make some snow globes (holiday home decor), make it a family event!
I am just saying the amount of useful ways this simple jar can be used amazes me every time, like the gift that keeps on giving. However, let us move on to another item we all have and can reuse like a couple of empty Pringles tins (all diy projects). Who doesn’t need some diy storage mechanisms to keep order huh? If you continuously go to the store, you are sure to have a zillion plastic bags shoved into a drawer somewhere (diy at home). Here’s a way to restore some order using those empty tins, simply, cut a small hole in the plastic cover of the Pringles tin and sort the plastic bags and fold them into each other in such a way, that when you pull one through the hole, another is pulled into the space. You can fit at least twenty bags in one tin easily. What I want to communicate to everyone is to recycle as much as you can, the number of ways to repurpose all these seemingly ordinary items is too numerous to name. Not to mention we are preserving the environment and eliminating unnecessary waste!
